WHAT TO POST ON INSTAGRAM AND OOTD
I must say this is one of my favourite looks published on my blog. This satin extreme wide leg jumpsuit comes with a belt however in my opinion it looks much better without it. I paired it with flat shoes with a bow and accessorised with a heart bag and the cutest pearl ruffle collar. This outfit made me feel like a princess! What do you guys think about this look?
WHAT TO POST ON INSTAGRAM: TOP 10 EASY CONTENT IDEAS
The whole world is obsessed with Instagram. It’s taken over our lives. When I meet new people at fashion events all they want to know is my Instagram handle. People judge others based on the amount of Instagram followers and likes. Our meals, clothes, homes and holidays have to be Insta-worthy. Instagram keeps making it harder for us with its constantly changing algorithm as only a small percentage of our own followers are being shown our photos. It’s a trap but we all fall right into it.
I am also guilty of this obsession. Instagram is the first thing I look at in the morning and the last thing I look at before going to bed in the evening. I did make mine and my companion’s lunch get cold because I spent too long taking the perfect shot of our food. I spent ages by the Eiffel tower and Disney castle taking numerous photos from different angles to have that one perfect picture for my Instagram. As a fashion blogger I have to accept this is the way things are and I cannot give up Instagram however I often remind myself there is more to life than likes and followers.
I recommend watching the episode of Black Mirror (available on Netflix) called Nosedive, it’s a real eye opener. It’s based in the near future, in a world taken over by a social-media platform that rules everyone’s lives. It lets the users rate all their human interactions on a five-star scale. That score determines their value in society and their access to services. A few bad ratings can ruin their overall score and subsequently their life. The story presented in this episode talks about the emerging trend of seeking validation on social media and how it could all go south.
Having warned you about the dangers and side effects, I have prepared a list of top 10 Instagram content ideas for those poor souls who are under Instagram’s spell and in need of some inspiration.
